VIDEO FOR SOCIAL CHANGE
: GUJARAT, INDIA

In August 2005, I returned from 8 months living in India, where my sister and I taught four members of a progressive women's organization how to use a digital video camera and editing equipment.

We started with four students who had never used a camera, and left behind a fully-functioning media production group within the NGO. The group is currently continuing to create a quarterly video magazine whose objective is to reach out to a rural, nonliterate audience.
